The most useful options are candle jar labels, scent labels, base warnings, lid stickers and gift-box seals. Each should solve a clear job: identify the business, close the packaging, communicate useful information or give the customer a reason to remember the order. Avoid adding stickers simply to fill space. A smaller set of consistent designs normally creates a stronger brand than many unrelated shapes and colours.

Typical surfaces include glass jars, metal tins, lids, boxes and dry outer packaging. Paper works well for dry indoor packaging and is often the economical choice. Vinyl is more durable where moisture, rubbing or frequent handling is expected, while clear vinyl gives glass and acrylic a minimal appearance. Adhesives behave differently on textured card, flexible plastic, chilled containers and tight curves, so test the actual surface before committing to a large quantity.

Measure the flat usable area in millimetres and leave room around folds, seams and container edges. A 25–38 mm sticker suits small seals, 50 mm is a flexible logo size, and 75–100 mm gives larger packaging or promotional artwork more presence. Print a paper circle or rectangle at home before ordering. QR codes, ingredients and small contact details need more physical space than a simple logo.

Separate the decorative front label from safety and business information where that keeps both readable. Test every label position during the candle burn-testing process. Start with 25–100 pieces when testing a new surface or design. Once the size and material are proven, larger tiers reduce the unit cost. Vector PDF, SVG, AI or EPS artwork gives the cleanest edges. A large transparent PNG can also work; screenshots and social-media downloads usually cannot.
